Best Photo Recovery Software - Pandora Recovery
If you've photographed with a digital camera for any length of time, chances are you've accidentally deleted some photographs, or found that your Computer & its beastly Friends have conspired to delete them. Depending on the photographs, this can be a tremendous pain. However, it is often possible to recover them. This is especially true if done straight away without overwriting the damaged harddisk or memory card.
First, check the Recycle Bin. If they're in there, count yourself lucky! Otherwise, there may have been recovery software bundled with one of your memory cards which could work. Mine didn't, and I spent some time trying several different programs. Several will allow you to search for and often find your lost photos, but then ask for money to actually get at them; understandable since they made the software in the first place.
However, I use Pandora Recovery as it's provided free, asking only for donations, and seems to be much better at recovering files than the rest. Hope this helps!
